Micah L. Boyer, MD
Born and raised in Canyon, Texas, Micah attended undergraduate at West Texas A&M University in Canyon and earned Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and biology in December 2007. In 2009, he was accepted to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, and after a life-long dream of pursuing a career in medicine, Micah graduated in May 2013.
After completing his intern year at the Altman Family Medicine Residency Program in Canton, Ohio, Micah returned to Texas and finished his training at the TTUHSC Family Medicine Residency program in Amarillo.
While in residency, Micah received extensive training in inpatient and outpatient care, ICU, critical care, and emergency medicine as well as clinic and practice management. In his free time throughout residency, Micah often contributed to the rural communities in the Texas Panhandle by working shifts at small-town hospitals and emergency rooms.
Micah graduated from residency in June 2016 and moved to Wichita Falls where he began practicing family medicine in July 2016. Micah moved his clinic to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls in January 2020 and opened its doors in February 2020.
In his spare time, Micah and his wife Jessica enjoy traveling and watching Dallas Cowboys football. They have two dogs, Montag and Millie, and they enjoy spending time with family and fostering dogs.
